Loma.eco was more than just a marketplace; it was a vision launched by Max Bieber and Oliver Sch\u00f6negge in January 2019 with the aim of creating a direct link between regional producers and end customers. Through our platform, customers were able to source a variety of products directly from over 150 producers across Germany, without intermediaries, which meant direct support for local producers.<\/p>\n
With over 2000 products, Loma.eco offered a unique selection that enabled customers to make their everyday lives more sustainable. The technical basis was formed by Shopware in combination with specially developed software in Go, which was designed specifically for the challenges of an online marketplace, such as shopping cart allocation and billing.
Our online marketing approach, which was based on direct product marketing, Google Shopping, SEO, social media advertising and cooperation with affiliate platforms, contributed significantly to our visibility and success.<\/p>\n

The end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one<\/strong><\/p>\n Due to external factors, such as changes in customer purchasing power caused by global challenges, we had to make the decision to discontinue Loma.eco at the end of 2023. This was a difficult decision, but we look back with gratitude on the cooperation with more than 150 producers and the support of over 10,000 end customers.<\/p>\n Our journey does not end here. The experience and knowledge we have gained over the past four years is now being incorporated into schoenegge.io.
